U14 Nike Boys Take On Nation's Best in St. Louis

The U14 Nike Boys spent the weekend in St. Louis, Missouri at a Pre-Academy Event (the prelude to the nation’s top boys league), and came out with a very good showing. The first two games were against teams from the Scott Gallagher Pre-academy from both Missouri and Illinois. The Rush boys came out with two wins, 1-0 and 2-1 respectively. This was good enough to get them to the Championship game on Sunday morning vs. Chicago Magic Pre-academy, who were hot off winning the Region II Championship, putting them with only 3 other teams in the nation to hold a Regional Title. The game ended 2-0 to Chicago but it was a wonderful showing from Rush.  The boys get back to work in league next week, and we wish them congratulations on a great tournament and good luck for the rest of the season!
