What is the Intermediate branch?

This program is divided into two levels, the Intermediate and Youth Academy Programs.

The Intermediate level is for any U9/U10 player that wants to compete. Players are grouped by geographic location and ability. Teams will train 1-2 times per week with their volunteer coach and once with their Director of Coaching and play games in the Colorado Youth Soccer League. Teams play an 8 - 9 game season; half of the games will be played at home (
 The Rush Complex
) and half will be played as away games (Denver, Castle Rock, Pueblo etc.). Teams play 7 versus 7 in the Intermediate program.

Registration Fee: $225 per season.

Practices

Practices are split into two 45 minute sections. Tyler will split the players into 2 groups. Group 1 will be inside the gym with the strength coaches (lead coach is Rachel Roberts) while Group 2 will be working with Coach Matt Saul  on the turf field. After 45 minutes the groups will make a quick switch. Group 1 will head outside, quickly put their cleats on and complete their soccer segment and group 2 will quickly put on their tennis shoes and head into the gym.

PLEASE MAKE SURE EVERY PLAYER HAS A CHANGE OF SHOES, THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE BARE FOOTED OR WEAR CLEATS INSIDE THE GYM, PLEASE MAKE SURE OUR PLAYERS ARE PREPARED.

CORE VALUES

Please the below link to see our Rush Core Values. We want our players to understand that as rush players, we try our very best to adhere to the 11 core values that we share with every player within our clubs (Domestic and International). We will talk about some of these core values at practices, games or any other rush event. I ask that you go through this document and talk about these traits with your children, so they can know what they are and have some kind of understanding of what they mean and why they are important. As our players get older, they will start to understand each one more with more detail. But, this is a great age to start introducing these ideas and character traits.
