Rush Pikes Peak Fall 2022 Soccer League Information! 

The Rush Pikes Peak Developmental Soccer Program is an exciting, fun, and energetic program for players U5-U10! Teams will be formed by birth year based on similar schools, neighborhoods, and friends. This unique developmental soccer program will provide players with solid knowledge and love for the game of soccer. Rush aims to foster a safe, fun, educational experience for your child as well as a solid foundation for a lifetime game.

We as a club are always to better the product we have for the players, coaches, and families who are our stakeholders. Our vision is to engage families and empower players. 

In order to allow enough time to better organize the league for the players, we will close the registration on March 1, 2023!

Please keep in mind that the developmental program is based on volunteer/parent coaches. We will need some parents to volunteer to coach the team! Rush will provide the volunteer coaches with some guidance and drills for each appropriate age.

Practice Locations are :

North players practice at  Discovery Park 155 Buckeye Drive, Colorado Springs, CO
 


South players practice at El Pomar Youth Sports Park 2212 Executive Circle, Colorado Springs, CO

Practice dates: March: 14- 21-28 April:  4 -11- 18 -25 - May: 2

If coaches can't hold practice at the time we made available, they will need to find an open community park for training. We are sorry for the inconvenient.

Training Sessions will be on those dates and on those permits field once a week on Tuesdays from 5-6 pm at your practice location depending on the time that works for the coach and the team.

Please be sure to send your child in athletic clothing, in cleats or athletic shoes, shin guards, with a ball if possible, and plenty of water. 

GAME  LOCATION is Discovery Park,  155 Buckeye Drive, Colorado Springs, CO

All the games will be played at this location no exception. We are planning to have some double header and players will be play 6 to 8 games this fall with the world cup around the corner we are hoping to incorporate some fun activities this year, so please stay tuned. For now we  will play all our games at the discovery location.  Thank you very much for your understanding!

Games: You will play 6 to 8 games in the Springs.
* Makeup games in case of any weather cancellations will be on Sundays. 

Game times could change depending on the number of teams in the league and in each division.

  • Game Dates March: 18-25 April:  1 - 8- 15 - 22 - 29 May: 6 

  • Game Times: We are planning to schedule the games between 9 am and 2 pm depending on the number of teams

Springs 2023 DATES: 

  • Registration Deadline: March 1st

  • Teams set and communicated by March  5th

  • Training should begin the week of March 8th

  • Game Week 1: March 18th

  • Game Week 8: May 6th

  • Ongoing weekly communication with families and coaches

What is the Recreational Branch?

The Recreational Branch (U3-U8) exists to allow any player, irrespective of ability, the opportunity to take their first steps into soccer. Players are able to play in both fall and spring seasons or just one season. Fall registration begins in May with the season starting in early September and running through November. Spring registration will begin in December with the season starting in March and running through May. We do accept late registrations on a space available basis.

The Recreational Branch is divided into two main programs. These programs divide players by age (based on their birth year) For the 2017/2018 season, U3/U4 players are 2014/2015 birth years, U5/U6 players are 2012/2013 birth years, and U7/U8 players are 2010/2011 birth years. 

Mighty Mites U3-U4 Boys and Girls

The core philosophy of the Mighty Mites Program is to offer a fun, enjoyable and supportive playing environment for young children. This program assists in developing basic motor skills and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle not only needed to play soccer but in daily activities.

Recreational League U5-U8

The Rush Pikes Peak Recreational Program is an exciting, fun and energetic program for players U5-U8! Teams will be formed by birth year based on similar schools, neighborhoods, and friends. This unique recreational program will provide players with a solid knowledge and love for the game of soccer. Rush aims to foster a safe, fun, educational experience for your child as well as a solid foundation for a lifetime game. Come join the Rush family!
