What is SOAP?

The Soccer Outreach and Awareness Program (SOAP) is a new program from the Rush Pikes Peak Soccer Club that is designed to assist Elementary schools to introduce soccer to their students.

The developmental soccer staff of Rush Pikes Peak Soccer Club will work with the school Physical Education teachers to deliver a fun, age-appropriate educational series of lessons on the benefit of soccer during the class PE lessons.  The experienced professional coaches will educate the students on the importance of a healthy lifestyle that includes exercise, good nutrition, and the importance of teamwork, accountability, & leadership.

The SOAP program will also run in conjunction with REACH (Rush Equipment Assisting Children), a program of Rush Soccer that helps to provide soccer equipment to those schools in need.

Schools Visited 

The SOAP program officially started the week of April 9th with Steele Elementary School and Tesla School being the first school's that we have visited. Our new partnership with Colorado Springs District 11 schools allow us to be able to visit any of their schools and teach soccer during their P.E classes.
