What is The Youth Academy?
The Youth Academy is our top program for U9 players. The Youth Academy is a 10-month program that includes all training, games, winter indoor training and tournaments. Each age group will be set up as pools of around 20 players, to be overseen by the DOCs, head coach and two full-time assistants. The groups will train together each week, and then split into two teams for weekend games. This will be a true academy setup, where teams can change each week and the focus will be primarily on training and development to prepare the players for the next levels of the game. Teams will train 2 times per week with their head coach (a Director of Coaching) and once with their age group Director of Coaching and play games in the Colorado Youth Soccer League. Teams play an 8 - 9 game season; half of the games will be played at home (Boddington Park
) and half will be played as away games (Denver, Castle Rock, Pueblo etc.). Teams play 7 versus 7 in the Intermediate program. They will also participate in 2 tournaments and winter indoor training.Registration Fee: $900 per year, includes all games, training, tournaments, training shirt and coaching fees. Registration is by invitation only (players can be invited by a DOC or can tryout for a spot in a team).
Uniforms:
Adidas uniforms are purchased directly through soccer.com and are $65. They can be used until the players outgrow them or move on to the competitive division.
