The Colorado Rush Pikes Peak Soccer Club is pleased to announce that in the Fall of 2016 the opening of a new state of the art, all grass soccer complex. The 10.25 acre complex will be located near the Colorado Springs airport on Resnik Drive. Just East of the Powers Boulevard and Hancock Expressway interchange, due North of the Sky View Sports Complex.
When complete, the yet to be named complex will host league matches, training sessions, all outdoor programs and provide a home for the newly formed Eastside developmental program beginning this Fall. In addition, the area will also be used for all TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) sessions and become the new home for SeSSI, The Southeast Springs Soccer Initiative. Our home will include 3 full-sized fields, 2 9v9 (u11/12) fields and 5 fields for the developmental program. The surface will be a well manicured rye grass - bluegrass mixture. After consultation with several turf specialists this was deemed the most durable, resilient grass for the need of the fields. This incredible project would not have been possible without the continued support of the loyal Rush Pikes Peak membership. These will be among the best youth soccer fields in Colorado and the athletes that play on them will immediately notice the attention to detail that has gone into planning this complex.
The club has set August 8th as the target for opening and is actively pursuing sponsorship relationships as well.
